State Senator Bob Mensch and Aqua America Present Grant for Green Lane Fire Company

Sen. Bob Mensch (R-Bucks/Lehigh/Montgomery/Northampton) was on hand when Aqua America representative, Bill Tyson, presented a check, in the amount of $500, to Green Lane Fire Company, for portable water services for a recent fire company fundraiser.

"I am grateful for the wonderful cooperation between so many people that has resulted in this funding becoming a reality," said Mensch.  "I am pleased that Aqua America recognizes the importance of partnering with local fire companies."

Mensch and Aqua America realize the value of supporting critical emergency services in local communities.  The money will be put towards the purchase of new fire-fighting equipment.  Aqua America owns the Green Lane Reservoir and operates the dam on the Perkiomen Creek.
