Internship ProgramAn Internship Opportunity for Students Interested In Politics and Government The internship program is designed to give students an opportunity to intern in a legislative office and learn about how the state legislature operates. This program is designed for students to learn and understand the function of various state agencies, and develop a better understanding of the legislative process. The students will become familiar with the duties and responsibilities of elected officials on a variety of levels. It gives students an opportunity to both visualize and apply the information and concepts taught in the classroom while providing the community with a public service. This program is an excellent opportunity for any aspiring academic or public servant. We encourage college students from all backgrounds and areas of study to apply. Duties of an Intern Include:
